I'm not very good at consistency, still in my defence I've only been as bad as most of the people I know, 2008 hasn't seemingly been much of a year for writing, posting etc. at least not amongst the circle I know that have been doing it for years. Still, here I am, my annual visit to DA prompted only because someone sent me a link and I remembered I hadn't been here in ages.  I've been busy k! I do still write, I do still take pics but a lot of things are more insular now, possibly overly so but I don't feel I have progressed and improved so that has something to do with it.  This is of course my own fault for not taking the time to focus o

That return thing didn't quite work out how I'd planned.  What with things over the last year I've not uploaded many pics, although I have continued to take them with the trusty A2 and have been eyeing up the new Sonys with interest. Anyway hope all are well, feel free to drop in and say hello.  I'll try to upload some photos soon.

I am back.  It's been a while and in some ways for photographic reasons and some ways not.  I shan't go into the latter because I don't wish to bore you. As for the photographic well mid way through last year I needed some change, life wasn't so good and I decided to upgrade to DSLR in an effort to kick start what I felt was wrong with my photographic self.  So I sold my beloved A2 to a mate and purchased a Canon 350D.  Lovely camera and superb in the hands of decent photographers but not in the hands of me. Maybe I'm too used to Minolta, I have used many Minoltas from film to digital, maybe my heart wasn't really in it in the first place b
